Ride/Race Reports
MBRT kicked butt at CCCX on Saturday. As you may have read from the race reports we had five guys out of 19 in the 3/4 race and used teamwork to pull off the win. We had a number of racers in other fields as well. And a big welcome back to D3!
Evan, Andrew, and Lance raced up in Morgan Hill for the Memorial Day crit. I raced Mt Hamilton (it was painful). It feels like I'm forgetting something or someone. Anything else?
Upcoming Rides/Races
Here in Monterey there's the TNPR and SMR. You know the drill.
ICC Dash For Cash - OK this little crit looks super fun. There's $10 primes on EVERY LAP. How cool is that?
Pescadero Coast Classic - A climber's road race. Sunday.
Finally there's a CCCX MTB race this Sunday for MBRTers who like to play in the dirt. I'd like to race this on a SS.
In Other News
Don't ever do this to your bike tires. Some riders go hard enough to puke.
Last but not least, our crit is on the 22nd of this month. We need help with course marshals and registration. Here's something you can do today: Pre-register for the race. How are you going to help?
