Chris W and Evan won races over the weekend, there are several rides this week including the Twilight Ride on Wednesday, and some races in Sac and Fresno this weekend. Let's get right to it.
Ride/Race Reports
Congratulations to MBRT racers Chris White and Evan Rossow! Both Chris and Evan won races over the weekend. (And both had second place finishes as well!) These guys are on fire. A number of other riders made the podium as well.
Upcoming Rides/Races
TNPR- The Tuesday Night Practice Race is here and it's a great place to build fitness. Meet at 5:40 for an easy warmup lap; Start at 6pm. This week will be the CCCX course. Start/finish is near just prior to the descent, near Ben's Gate. In the future we'll alternate between the circuit course and the Seaside Bay View course (or an abbreviated version of the course). It would be good to see a big turnout tomorrow night so put the word out. We may be able to keep more riders involved if we divide MBRT into two competing teams.
Laguna Seca Twilight Ride is this Wednesday. 5:00 to 7:00pm. MBRT is hosting so your attendance is expected. There will be a team photo at 5:45pm and a 3-lap circuit race at 6pm (with 1/2/3 and 4/5 fields).
Thursday, Friday- Easy miles. Lots of them.
SMR- The Saturday Morning Ride. 7:15am. As usual, the options are to sit in or go to the front. (You should go to the front.) Now this is optional: After the final sprint let's meet up and backtrack until we see the B riders. Then we can practice our lead-out train and sprint against them. They like that.

In Other News
Let's see...There was a huge turnout at CCCX over the past weekend. THE BISON raced a stage race and plans on hosting a party soon. Our second training camp is in early April.
